Hello Members!

 

Thank you for your membership at the Campus Wellness Centre.  Please continue reading for our April fitness centre updates:

 

 

  • Snakes and Ladders

    • Our Snakes and Ladders challenge wraps up on April 2nd.  Come in for a workout today and tomorrow and get double the rolls!

    • All participants earn a chance to win an Amazon gift card.

 

  • Water Restrictions

    • Indoor and outdoor water restrictions may be lifted as early as tomorrow. Watch local news sources and pay attention to facility signage for updates. 

    • Please continue to limit your showers to 3 minutes or less until restrictions are lifted.

 

  • Group Exercise Schedule

    • Our group exercise drop-in schedule remains the same for the month of April. Please RSVP using the member portal

    • There is a lot of movement on the wait lists. Please use them, as it is likely that you will get into the class.

 

  • Recurring Bookings

    • Our group exercise classes are chronically waitlisted.  We love having full classes, but we’d also like members to be able to RSVP for classes with more certainty.

    • We are considering removing the recurring booking option for our group exercise classes to help reduce the wait lists. If you attend group exercise classes, please fill out this survey.

 

  • Registered Yoga

    • View the poster here.

    • Mon/Thurs from 12-1pm. April 13th - May 25th.

    • $70 for the full 6-week block. Drop-ins are $12 +GST.

 

  • Exercise and Stress Management

    • Chronic psychological stress can cause big mental and physical problems. Join us for a free education session all about the physiology of stress, and strategies you can use to help manage it.

    • April 28th 11-11:30am. Join us in person or on Zoom. Watch your calendar for an invite.

    • Members and non-members are welcome.

 

  • Shoe Cubbies

    • The shoe cubbies will be cleaned out again at 2pm on April 23rd. Set a note in your calendar to clean out your belongings so that we don’t steal your shoes.
