Construction begins on Friday! We will be knocking down walls and installing HVAC units to make your workout space better. Please see attached poster for information on immediate closures.
Visit goto/wellnesscalendar on your intranet to view our most up to date group exercise schedule.
Looking for ideas for Registered Programs for the fall. What would you like to see? We will be having our regular yoga, kickboxing and pilates, but is there something else you would like us try to get going? Let me know.
Would anyone be interested in a registered class that teaches you the principles of fitness, how to do exercises correctly, and how to put a program together for yourself?
Regular group exercise classes are running next week, the first week of July. There will be no Registered Classes that week. They will be starting July 10th!
Thank you to those who came to the “Methods for Reducing Back Pain” workshop today. I hope you could take something away from what we covered. The power point is on our website under resources. If you need explanations about the rolling, stretches or exercises, feel free to stop by the fitness centre 🙂
We have been having “Sustainable Me” workshops/presentations once a month for a few months already. Let us know what you would like to know more about. So far, we have covered…”Sleep”, “Diabetes and Physical Activity”, Get your head in the game”, “Back Pain” and finally “Methods for reducing back pain”. These power points can be found on our website at www.505QPWellness.ca, under Resources.
Come and join us from 1:00 – 1:30 pm today in studio 1 for some line dancing. Members and non-members are welcome!
Apologies to those who went to the Sustainable Me session on “Practical Ways to Reduce Back Pain” yesterday. The date was changed and the change was not reflected anywhere except for the electronic signs. I did not even think to post this change in yammer or on our website 🙁
The actual date for this workshop is next Wed at 1 pm in Summit room 1. I hope those that were there yesterday can make it next week and for those who did not attend yesterday, can clear their schedule and attend next Wed.
Join us tomorrow, Tues, June 6th for a free spin/bootcamp demo class with Madison from 1:00 – 1:45 pm!
If you attended the Sustainable Me workshop yesterday on Back Pain or you missed the session, and would like to view the power point, it can be found in the resources section.
Join us at 1 pm in Summit room 5 for our Sustainable Me talk on Back Pain!
